TERMS & CONDITIONS

• The goods supplied within the manufacturers tolerance limits of size, texture and colour variation. It is recommended that tiles from all boxes are mixed to give a reasonable blend. Travertine, slate and all other natural stone is supplied subject to colour variation. It is the responsibility of the customer and fitter to ensure this.
• Akropolis Tile & Bath Store cannot guarantee to match shades of previous orders and no guarantee can be made against crazing. The goods are as ordered, are satisfactory and suitable for purpose required. NO CLAIM CAN BE ACCEPTED ONCE THE ITEMS ARE FIXED
• Every effort will be made to ensure the delivery is met with the required times needed for the customer and to be met with the quoted period. The customer shall have no right to claim for any damages for any delay in delivery as it is advised that the customer should have the products at hand before agreeing fixing dates with the fitter.
• Our products and services are provided to the best of our ability and based on our manufacturers and suppliers’ personal experience and any information, facts and issues the customer provides. Any opinion, statement, recommendation or anything whatsoever shall not form a guarantee. Whilst we can advise customers it is still their responsibility to ensure products and services are met for their particular needs.
• Quotations are given in good faith on a basis of the correct costs and are open for the acceptance for a minimum period of 30 days. The price is subject to change in the event of alteration of the distributor’s price or change in current rates.
• Where the company delivers to site, delivery will be to the nearest hard road to site. If the customer requires delivery beyond the hard road then risk as to the condition of the goods is with the customer. Unloading is the responsibility to the customer.
• If delivery is carried by courier or by post then the risk for the condition of the goods is with the customer after the goods have been left by the courier. Any damages need to be noted on the courier’s delivery notes before leaving goods.
• An alleged shortage or condition of goods on which would not be apparent on visual inspection must be communicated within 48 hours. Subject to the condition the customer is deemed to have accepted the goods as having been supplied in the good condition and in accordance with the order.
• Liability of Akropolis Tile & Bath Store for the defective condition of any goods supplied will not exceed the original order value of the goods in respect of which the complaint has been made. No claim can be made of the respective condition of the goods once they been fixed or attempted to have been fixed to wall or floors.
• Goods cannot be exchanged on a sale and return basis, and no goods can be returned or exchanged once they have left the premises unless previously agreed. A restocking charge of 25% will be applied.
• If goods are agreed to be returned then they must be returned in the original boxing/ packaging they came in otherwise no exchange of goods/ refund can be completed.
